    ALLDAQ ADQ-Express - The open platform for modular measuring systems

     

    ADQ-Express - that are CompactPCI based complete systems for the universal use in industry and laboratory. All systems will be configured individually according to your requirements e.g. for the automated functional test including DAQ, control and interface boards (like CAN bus). Depending on your application you can choose between compact desktop boxes in different versions and systems for 19 inch rack mounting. The computing power can be provided either by an PCI-Express bus extension or you opt for a stand-alone solution with discrete CompactPCI CPU. Depending on the housing and backplane versions with up to 17 peripherial slots (each 4 HP) are available.

    • Transparent access to the measuring hardware in the CompactPCI sub-system via PCIe bus extension – on request also with stand-alone CompactPCI-CPU

    • Easily expandable e. g. with CAN bus or RS-232/422/485 interface boards

    • Open: CompactPCI based, i.e. open for boards from other manufacturers – PXI boards can be also integrated (without support of the PXI trigger and sync lines)

    • Easy to maintain: Simple exchange of components for calibration or in case of service

    • Programming support: SDK for common high-level programming languages (C++, C#, Visual Basic, Pascal), support for LabVIEW™ & MATLAB®

    Advantages of the PCI Express bus extension

    • Cost-effective link of the measuring hardware to the host PC
    • No stand-alone CPU required - but possible if wanted
    • ExpressCard host adapter in preparation - ideal for mobile use
    • Several sub-systems can be cascaded
    • Reliable and fast data transfer via PCIe x1 lane with 250 MB/s (compare to USB 2.0: 60 MB/s, USB 3.0: 500 MB/s)
    • Maximum number of the peripheral boards depends on the used backplane and the BIOS of the host computer

    Naming Short description
    PCIe X1 to CPCI bridge with switch The "PCIe X1 to cPCI Bridge" is a 3U cPCI plug-in board. It will be plugged into the system slot of the cPCI backplane. The board provides a bridge, which converts the serial PCIe X1 link to 32 bit cPCI. At the front panel are two PCIe-X1 male connectors for upstream and downstream. The board supports up to 8 CompactPCI slots.
    PC PCIeX1 to PCIeX1 cable buffered Active Gen 2 plug-in board for PC in PCIe-X1 slot. Serves as host adapter for external PCIe systems. Gen1 compatible.
    ExpressCard/34 to PCIe Active  Gen 2 adapter for ExpressCard/34(54) slot. Serves as host adapter for external PCIe systems. Gen1 compatible.
